CleverDeck Xtreme 138mm or 185mm wide solid WPC composite timber decking comes in up to 7 unique colours: Ash Grey, Basalt, Desert Oak, Graphite, Light Oak, Riverstone Grey and Rustic Merbau.
Boards have a fine grain texture pattern pressed into the proprietary polymer skin. The back of the board has been specially scalloped to reduce weight and allow air flow between the bottom of the board and the joist helping to reduce heat.
Deck Clips
The deck clips are supplied with self-drilling screws for either timber or metal/aluminium joists.
The deck clip options include:
- a combo clip that is used over every joist and for fixing breaker boards.
- a locking clip that is used instead of a combo clip over the joist that is closest to the centre of the joist.
- a starting/finishing clip that is used for the first and last board on the deck.
- A BAL clip that is used on BAL rated decks where the gap between boards needs to be l3mm or less.
Custom Decking Options
CleverDeck Xtreme can be purchased in custom colours and custom lengths in either the 138mm wide or 185mm wide x 23mm thick standard scalloped back decking board with grooved edges.
Custom orders take between 9-13 weeks to supply and require a minimum order quantity and a 50% deposit with order.
For larger commercial projects, Futurewood can also work with you on your own custom-made design. Custom made dies (tooling) can be made within 30 days from the drawings being signed off. Tooling costs can be amortised across the project or paid for up front.

CleverDeck® Xtreme
CleverDeck Xtreme products are made from cellulose material (hardwood sawdust ground into a wood flour) and recycled and virgin polyolefin plastic. The CleverDeck Xtreme shell is made from a proprietary combination of materials including virgin polyolefins (plastics), filler, colour pigments and UV inhibitors. The hard outer shell is easy to clean but hard to scratch.
This combination of materials not only provides uses for recycled and waste materials, but it also reduces the need to chop down slow-growing hardwood tree species from our rainforests and it reduces the number of oils and chemicals needed to rejuvenate and maintain hardwood decking timbers. All in all, buying a CleverDeck instead of hardwood timber is a great environmental outcome that will save you time and money.
